This is the official website for USA Softball of Kansas.

USA Softball of Kansas is proud to be one of 65 local affiliates for USA Softball. Founded in 1933 as the Amateur Softball Association, USA Softball is the National Governing Body of Softball in the Unites States, so declared by the United States Olympic Committee in 1978.

Kansas USA Softball is a not-for-profit 501(c)(4) corporation.

Our Mission

The objectives of USA Softball of Kansas shall be:

  • To promote and regulate amateur softball for all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin or ancestry.
  • To establish uniform softball rules and regulations.
  • To provide it with proper safeguards in accordance with the spirit of true sportsmanship.
  • To establish and maintain by allied membership, alliances with associations devoted wholly or partially to the promotion of the game of amateur softball.
  • To promote and conduct annual amateur softball championships.
  • To educate and train in the proper skills of amateur softball play and rules of the game through promoting, organizing, and conducting clinics, seminars, and training courses.

USA Softball commits to SafeSport

As the National Governing Body of softball, USA Softball - and, therefore, USA Softball of Kansas - will be working with SafeSport in an effort to ensure a safe environment for all who participate in our programs.  Officials & all Youth Coaches will have to become SafeSport certified in order to participate in our events.  For more information and available resources, check out the website at

Register Link is the online membership website for USA Softball. The system is operated out of the National Office in Oklahoma City, OK and support is provided by both the National Office and the Local State/Metro offices. For More info about us, please Click Here.


Services are available for all divisions of play within the USA Softball structure including fast pitch & slow pitch and adult & youth. Access to Tournament Directors, for either service, is administered through the state or metro USA Softball office. Each Tournament Director wishing to use needs approval from the State Softball commissioner.
